We took another camping trip last week and invited the Schroeder's "neighbors" to come with us this time! Jess had been out with us a couple of times 2 years ago but we had so much fun with Gabe out there this time!

Tyler's talking!! Well at least a TON of baby talk that is! He started doing this last night out of nowhere when we were at my grandma's house for dinner and hasn't stopped! He continued it all night last night and all day today. I LOVE listening to him discover all of these new things. It's soooo precious!

Beautiful Sunday!

Today was such an amazingly GORGEOUS day outside! Sunny and in the 70's!! We decided to go to the park and have a picnic. The dogs had a BLAST time getting out of the house and getting some attention. Tyler slept for a while when we got there but they had a fun time just hanging out.

VANS

I gave in and bought Tyler a pair of Vans. They are SOOOOOO dang cute and he looks like such a boy in them! They had the soft bottoms so their good for his little feet and won't hurt them. I LOVE them and had to share! I only got a picture of the super cute bottoms of the shoes but he's what the tops look like : )

Baby Giggles

I was FINALLY able to get a video of Tyler laughing. He's been laughing for a couple of weeks now but everytime I get out my camera to record him he gets too distracted. We were over at "The Neighbors" house (Gabe and Jess) for a usual dinner night. As you'll see, Chad gets him to laugh by making farting noises, LOL!! It's too funny but it works!

Chad's 25th Birthday

We went up to Big Bear and stayed in the Dilucchio's cabin for Chad's birthday weekend. The Dilucchio family (Rocky, Debbie, Lucia and her boyfriend), other Diluchhio's (Mike, Emily and Connor), the Malestic's (Lynne, Larry and Lauren), grandma Alice and Chad and I all went up. Along with our 6 dogs combined : ) And yes the cabin sleeps everyone comfortably - it's amazing! We went up on Friday, 2/8 and just hung for the night.

Saturday morning Mike, Emily, Chad and I woke up to go snowboarding while the grandma's (Lynne and Debbie) watched the baby boys. Unfortunately Chad hurt himself a little (still thinking he's 16 again going off jumps) and yeah...it wasn't good. Chad's motto = Go big or go home - didn't work so hot this time. So the boarding ended early but luckily we were able to get vouchers for free tickets next time we go, woohoo!Tyler tried out Connor's highchair for the first time and loved it. He had a great time sitting up and hanging out with everyone in the kitchen. Chad, Mike, Larry and Lauren built an igloo!! Here are a couple of pictures from the start of it and the work in progress and I still have to get the finished product picture! I'll post it as soon as I get it. The igloo ended up fitting 7 people comfortably sitting down inside the thing! It was CRAZY!! And actually warm inside too! Here's Chad's expression when he opened up his AppleTV that I got him for his birthday.
He is was in total shock! We had an awesome weekend! Thank you again Rocky and Debbie!!

4 Month Stats

Can't believe Tyler's already 4 months!! Well actually 4 months, 1 week and 1 day by the time I'm getting around to posting this : ) Things have been busy!

Weight - 16 lbs 15 ounces (91%)
Height - 24 1/2 inches (25%)

Like Chad always says, "I was the shortest, heaviest kid in peewee football" hahahah.
He might be taking after his daddy : )

Rolie Polie Olie!

Tyler's rolling!! Or at least just turning from his tummy to his back. I know this is probably only SUPER exciting for Chad and I but I couldn't help but share the excitement with everyone. He's actually done it a few times while sleeping but this was the first time that I was actually able to witness it (February 1, 2008). I love watching him change and grow everyday! It's so amazing!

Eerrrggghhh . . . So I've tried putting his rolling video on here a few times and it's not working... anybody have any tips? It just keeps saying "uploading video ( of )" FOREVER! And then will have an error message... oh well... maybe one day I'll figure it out and be able to post the video : )

Bollenberg's in Town!!

One of my best friends, Sabrina, and her family came to visit Chad and I for a few days. She hadn't met Tyler yet so that was exciting and her girls, Hailey (2) and Aubrie (10 months) had a fun time with him. We played games, visited friends out here and had our usual stay up until 3 in the morning chats (I only get to see her a couple times a year, lol). It was so great seeing and visiting with them! Thank you for coming to stay with us Brie, Mike, Hailey and Aubrie! We miss you!!
