Chad is back down in Mexico (Palapas Ventana) for 5 days spearfishing with his good friend Justin - thanks to a tax return this year - woohoo!! He left earrrrrrrly Wednesday morning and comes home late Sunday night. I know he's having a great time but I'm ready for him to be home. His phone doesn't work down there but Araceli came over for a girls movie night last night and we were able to video chat with the boys so that was nice! Good to see his face and know he's alive! hahaha! Chad speared a 22 lb pargo yesterday and some other type of reef fish but they didn't have much luck today. They still have 1 more full day of diving tomorrow though so I'm praying it's a great day for the both of them! They informed us that an 8 ft Mako shark came within arm's reach of them - EEEKKKK!!! I wasn't even nervous about that whole part of diving. I've been praying for safety and protection but more so along the lines of the crazy breath holding they do - not even thinking about sharks!! Like I said... I'm ready for my hubby to be back home safe and sound! I'm glad he was able to get a guys weekend away though - it's been a long time! I'm sure he'll have a ton of pictures when he comes home so I'll blog about that later and share his trip.
