time.flies.

I haven't posted anything in 2 months... where have the last 2 months gone?! Landon is 2 1/2 months old... where have those 2 and a half months gone?! Time is going by way to fast for my liking. Landon is growing up - well in my eyes that is. In the grand scheme of things, no... but he's getting so big and so chunky and hitting those first milestones so quickly. It makes me sad that he's already lost all of his "newborn-ness" in just the blink of an eye but I'm just trying to enjoy each day as it comes. Here are just a few of the latest highlights...

Brotherly LOVE
I know so much has happened in the last couple of months but I really don't even know where to begin?? Tyler is LOVING his brother now which has been a huge answer to prayer! The first month was TOUGH to say the least but I think he's just realizing that Landon's not going anywhere so he'd better just to learn to like him, and that he has! He wants to hug him, kiss him, hold him, etc. all of the time! It's pretty darn cute and melts my heart! Praise God!

EARS
Tyler finally got his tubes put in his ears a few weeks ago. I know I talked about it back in a post in November I believe but after having to reschedule the surgery a couple of times we were finally able to have it done! We originally had it schedule for the beginning of December and Chad ended up having to be in Canada for work. Then rescheduled for the end of December and Tyler was sick. Then rescheduled it for January 12th and ta-da, Landon was born! So FINALLY on March 2nd, he had them put in. Dr had also discussed having his adnoids taken out if they were enlarged and sure enough while they were doing the procedure they were VERY enlarged (and very grose looking - the dr. gave me a picture!) so they came out. Tyler was a trooper and did pretty well with the experience overall. It was pretty rough coming out of anesthesia... he was crying uncontrollably, moving and squirming all over the place... it was sad. I was holding Landon so Chad got into the hospital bed with him and they cuddled and slept there for an hour. Ty was back to his normal self the next morning and has been doing great since. He was already talking a TON more and trying to say things he never has before! He was repeating things so much clearer just the next day - it was crazy and it's been fun listening to him try out a whole new vocabulary! He had his speech evaluation on Monday and is starting speech therapy this coming week to get caught up!! Things are looking up and I can't wait to start having conversations with my boy!

Baptism
I'm getting baptized Easter weekend - finally - and I'm pretty excited about it! I was baptized as a baby and I guess I've just convinced myself the last few years that it was good enough... I've been feeling very convicted the last couple of months that it is something I need to do as an adult as I haven't done so since starting my walk and my own personal relationship with Jesus.

Sleep
So I don't want to put this on here for the chance of jinxing myself but Landon has slept for a solid 6-7 hours at night the last 2 nights. I feel like a new woman, LOL!!! He's been up every 3 hours, every night since he was born, until Wednesday night... it's been wonderful!! Let's pray he keeps it up!! Ty didn't sleep through the night until he was 8 months old so I wasn't giving myself great expectations with Landon but hey, I'll take it at 2 1/2 months if he'll give it to me!

Alrighty... well I think those have been the big things happening in our lives lately...
I have tons of pictures to post so I'll get to it and see what I can get done while I have both boys napping!!! Woohoo!!!
