Uuuuggghhhh
So I wanted to get a few posts updated tonight and now my computer isn't loading pictures into the post so I'm going to try again tomorrow...Promise : )
My Dad Rocks
My brother, Michael, got Tyler this shirt "My Dad Rocks" and skull crib shoes. He looks like such a boy! It was too cute not to get a quick picture on our way out the door with Chad in his matching red shirt. Oh and that's Hailey, Sabrina's daughter, in the doorway if you're wondering. That'll be on the next post : )
Ringing in the New Year - CAMPING!
Chad and I have spent 5 out of the 6 New Year's we've been together camping out in the desert. It such a fun way to celebrate the New Year and probably one of the safer ways being out in the middle of nowhere without drunk drivers everywhere. We went out with Craig (Chad's dad) and the Malestic's (Chad's mom, stepdad and sister) and had a fun time! We rode the bikes, played Horseopoly - soooo much fun!! - spent time around the campfire and had some great food and appetizers (thanks to Lynne!) It was a great way to welcome in 2008!
January has FLOWN!!
It's been a month since I've posted...soooo sorry! Tyler's probably doubled in size since then but I'm getting caught up now so you can check it out... I'll try not to be as lazy in February : ) Riiiiight...

Winter Baby
I couldn't resist posting another picture. We took this on our way to church tonight. Thank you Torrey for the adorable beanie and sweater. There are matching socks too but his legs are so chubby that it practically cuts off his circulation - hahah!

Christmas Week - Busy Busy!!
Christmas has come and gone and I can't believe it's already over! It was a great season with Tyler's First Christmas and one that will be remembered forever. I felt like I had to take pictures of EVERYTHING so I didn't miss a moment and forget what his first Christmas was like.
On Saturday, the 22nd, we had our annual Christmas party at the Priest house. We had our close friends over and had a great time celebrating the season. We played catch phrase and talked our friend Gabe into going to get his bagpipes (he lives just down the street) and play for all of us. Chad decided to put on Gabe's kilt (surprised? haha) and dance for us. He played Amazing Grace - AMAZING!! - which gave everyone teary eyes but then followed it up with Jingle Bells to lighten the mood. It was 11:00 - our surrounding neighbors have got to love us now, right?
We went to the Living Desert's Wild Lights on Sunday with Gabe and Jessica and her family and had so much fun. We're going to make it a tradition with Tyler and hopefully in the years to come he won't sleep the whole time, lol. He was VERY warm and snuggled in my mody wrap, which I absolutely LOVE! We walked around looking at the lights, drinking hot cocoa and making smores.
Christmas Eve we went over to my grandma's house for dinner, then to church, then home to finish up wrapping. Yes...I procrastinated : ) We tested out the self timer on our camera to take a family picture of us in our Christmas Eve PJ's...
Christmas Day was another busy day but it turned out great. We went over to my in-laws to open gifts then went to Chad's aunt and uncles house for Christmas brunch. It was seriously the best breakfast ever! We then came home to get our house ready for Christmas dinner. We had both of our families over (20 people) and everything turned out so good! The dinner was amazing, thanks to my dad, who did the majority of the cooking.
I anticipate next Christmas being soooo much fun when Tyler will be able to understand it a little more and open his presents. I can't wait!!
Sleepy Boys
I love watching my boys sleep together. Tyler looks so comfy sleeping on Chad and I can't resist taking pictures of them when it happens. It's so precious! Here's one night:
and then the next day we were over at our neighbors house for dinner and they did it again. Only Gabe found it necessary to jump on into the picture. So cute!! Chad had a great laugh the next day when I showed him the pictures.

First Family Photo!
We took our first family picture this week. Lynne, my mother-in-law, took them for us out in front of Palm Valley Country Club. I think they turned out pretty good! Here's one of the better ones of all three of us where Tyler's cheeks aren't budging over onto his outfit - they're getting so chubby! It's too cute!
What 6 weeks can do!
It's amazing to see what 6 weeks of growing looks like!! Joan, my boss, gave me the idea to take a picture of Tyler every month, wearing the same 12 month onesie, to watch how much he actually grows in the first year wearing the same outfit. I took a picture of him at 2 weeks, 1 month and 2 months so far. By the looks of his 2 month picture, he's going to be busting out of the thing by the time he's 12 months!! Check it out:

Crazy what 6 weeks can do!!
