I am so excited although I'm a little scared that posting about this will completely jinx it and it'll all be over... but I'm too excited not to share.
Well first off, Tyler slept through the night last night. He has done this a handful of times (maybe 5-6) in the last 8 1/2 months but this time was different. When he's slept through the night before, it's usually when Chad and I have been on a date or somewhere and he's been at someone's house (usually grandma's) and is up late and then picked up late and put to bed late when we get home - say 10 or 11'ish. However last night we put him to bed at 7:30 (usual bedtime at our house) and he didn't wake up until 7:00 this morning!!!!! I couldn't believe it. No dreamfeed in the middle of the night, no pacifier replacement, no rocking, nothing!! AMAZING!!
Fast forward to today, just about an hour ago. I was feeding Tyler and he started looking pretty sleepy, rubbing his eyes, etc. I changed his diaper and when I put him in his crib he was wide-eyed and sat up then pulled himself up on his crib immediately. I left him in his crib in his dark room and shut the door. I had the monitor on in the living and listened to him play in there for a solid 25 minutes and then... SILENCE. Did my little boy seriously just play quietly and then put himself to sleep?!?! I can't believe it!!
Now I should be getting stuff done around my house instead of blogging... we'll see if that happens. I might dive into some homework for a new Beth Moore bible study I started this morning at Southwest. It's going to be great. I can't wait to get into it!!

Yeah - when baby sleeps everybody sleeps! awesome!
It's Viv's birthday today and we had company in town, or else I would have been there this morning. Can't wait for next Thursday! Beth Moore is awesome.
Yay! Dylan took a really long time to sleep through the night too. Its amazing how kids can surprise you with things you just assumed they weren't capable of. I find a lot of the time I have been the one that it hung up on something, (independent sleeping, etc) not him! Yay Tyler! I hope it continues!
